The Farouk Systems 16th International Conference weekend kicked off with a Welcome Fiesta “hacienda style” and traditional Mexican entertainment by the Mariachis! The Conference was a reflection of peace and love as thousands congregated and watched hairdressers from North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia work together putting on the conference of a lifetime. Then, a major demonstration of peace and love happened during the grand finale show. Two hairdressers, Jamal Shami and Oren Ore, from the rival countries of Palestine and Israel initiated peace as they performed on-stage together. They finished off their performance, gripping their hands together in the air, listening and watching as the audience cheered them on while history was being made! That’s the beauty of Farouk Systems; it doesn’t thrive on simply selling a product, but in using its products to bring human beings together regardless of what culture, religion, race and/or background a person may be.
The conference focused on “Made in the USA!” Farouk spoke about the company’s mission to bring manufacturing back to the US from China and South Korea. Additionally, with Farouk Systems there is always new technology to look forward to. Former NASA Chief Scientist and VP of Technology, Dr. Dennis Morrison spoke about a hairdryer that will be able to enhance hair growth. Next, Dr. Shaath, spoke about the New CHI Organics Olive Nutrient Therapy line. However, Vice Chairman of Farouk Systems, John McCall, reminded the audience that CHI Organics was not the inception of the “Go Green” concept; rather Farouk Systems was founded on environmentally friendly principles when it created the first Ammonia-free color by SunGlitz®. Then, President Shauky Gulamani launched 9 New Tools that are currently being introduced from New Spring Curling Irons to the Travel Size CHI Iron and Dryer. In addition, Farouk Systems is launching Silk Therapy USA Color, a “box color” which includes a 2oz. developer, a .5oz Sealer Plus and a .5oz Silk Therapy. Afterward, there were also guest appearances by Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Netherlands, Miss Italy, Miss Germany, and Miss Israel along with actresses from General Hospital, Friday Night Lights and Boogieman 2. Entertainment was provided by the #1 singer in Holland, Glennis Grace, and the #1 Pop Polish Singer, Gosia Andrzejewcz, and the surprise guest performer Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child who sang her New hit single “We Break the Dawn!” Afterward, the Guest Inspirational Speaker was Houston’s famous news anchor and television host, Deborah Duncan.
Then, the company saved the best for last hosting a beautiful Awards Gala where Farouk received a letter of congratulations on the conference from His Majesty King Abdullah the 2nd of Jordan delivered by His Excellency Sr. Advisor to His Majesty the King who delivered a moving speech that focused on Peace and Love. The conference wrapped up after Farouk Systems handed out awards to its Top educators, creative artistic team members and distributors. But this is not the end; it’s only the beginning!
